Welcome to the Gamma Eta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. of Tampa FL. Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and allowing us to share with you the hard work, service, and celebration of Brotherhood that our Chapter enjoys.  We are a brotherhood of conscious men actively serving our communities.

Through this site, you will learn about our commitment to the local community and the many aspects that make our chapter a needed presence in Tampa, FL. Phi Beta Sigma has served humanity and championed many causes through these efforts, highlighted in our three program areas: Bigger and Better Business, Social Action, and Education.

I am committed to my role as President of the Gamma Eta Sigma Chapter and I look forward to adding to a proud history that began in 1936 with our founders; Bro. H.W. Blake, Bro. George Dennis, Bro. John Green, Bro. John R. Hall and Bro. P. Charles Lamb.  With an 80 year history of community impact, we continuously strive to be to the beacon of light in the Tampa Bay community. We invite you to check back often to see what’s going on with our beloved, but more importantly, we invite you to come to participate in some of our many outreach projects as we provide Motto “Culture for Service and Service For Humanity”.

Our site is here for you to find out information about our activities and programs; our 501 3C partners, The Crescent Foundation and our youth auxiliary, the Sigma Beta Club. We also support and supervise our two collegiate chapters at the University of South Florida (Zeta Xi) and the University of Tampa (Alpha Beta Gamma).

The Gamma Eta Sigma Chapter was voted “International Alumni Chapter of the Year”-Level 1 Chapter in 2009 and we have won numerous awards on the State, Regional and International levels. Our chapter has a great deal of diversity, from brothers just starting their post-collegiate careers to senior members who continue to give guidance and support. Several of our brothers serve as State and Regional Officers, showing that our leadership goes beyond our local chapter level..
